Anti-Hydro Integral Waterproofing Agent, 1-Gallon Jug

ANTI-HYDRO is extensively recommended for integrally water-proofing concrete. It has been successfully used since 1904 in all types of structures to waterproof concrete and to improve its workability, strength, hardness, and durability. Installations include foundations, elevator pits, sewage and water treatment plants, seawall construction, tunnels, underground utility construction, slabs-on-grade, exposed exterior concrete, tanks, tilt- ups, countertops, pre-casts and pavements.

Anti-Hydro will raise the percentage of hydration of the mix (the amount of cement that actually chemically reacts with the water) from the usual 65% to 70% range to approximately 95% or greater. This is a significant change to the final properties of the product which yields denser, harder material which is impermeable to water.

Anti-Hydro is a high-range accelerator. This means that the concrete mix will harden far faster than normal and when used in winter it will harden before it freezes.
