BASF MasterKure ER 50 Evaporation Reducer, 5-Gallon Bucket

MasterKure ER 50 reduces surface moisture evaporation from freshly placed concrete, especially in rapid-drying conditions, such as high-ambient or concrete-surface temperatures, low humidity, high winds, direct sunlight, or work in heated interiors during cold weather. Formerly known as Confilm.

• Reduces surface-moisture evaporation approximately 80% in wind and approximately 40% in sunlight to reduce plastic-shrinkage cracking and wind crusting
• Does not affect concrete strength, abrasion resistance or durability
• Results in a consistent concrete surface
• Allows reduced slump and water content to facilitate proper hydration of high-strength mixtures
• Prolongs surface plasticity for longer working time in hot, dry or windy conditions
• Sold in a 5-gallon bucket
• Dilute one part MasterKure ER 50 with nine parts water to yield 10 gallons; covers approximately 2,000-4,000 square feet
• Note: MasterKure ER 50 evaporation reducer is not a curing agent. Concrete treated with this product must still be cured.
