Heat-Stop 50 High-Temperature Refractory Mortar, 50-Pound Bag

Heat Stop 50 is the masonry construction industry standard for high-temperature refractory mortar. This product meets and exceeds ASTM C-199 and all other national and state building codes. Heat Stop 50 is non-water soluble and can be safely used in the installation and repair of extreme heat-resistant firebrick and masonry in bread and pizza ovens, boilers, fireplaces, flues, furnaces, incinerators, kilns and wood stoves that reach temperatures of up to 2,500 degrees. Combine Heat Stop 50 dry mix with clean, cold water for masonry applications. The 50-lb. bag yields about 60 lbs. of refractory mortar after mixing. You will need approximately 50 lbs. of product to lay up 100 firebrick.
