This cap's unique corner-mount design allows the cover to be attached at the strongest part of the flue tile, which helps prevent against cracking and other damage to the tile. Protects against birds, animals, rain, snow, debris, down drafts, and ascending sparks. The outside mounting design provides greater free-air space which helps create a better draft. Easily installed with a screwdriver.

Do not use black galvanized caps when coal, oil, wood or pellets are the main source of heat.
